Fungi is inspired by Matsutake and Brown Velvet mushrooms, members a fungi family known as Mycorrhizae that helps trees communicate with one another. These interactions occur via a network of underground threads called mycelia that extend from mycorrhizal mushroom bases to tree roots in order to form a “wood-wide-web”.
